Adequan equine
Adequan for horses i.m. Equine is a prescription intramuscular injectable medication used to manage arthritis and joint pain in horses. With Adequan i.m., you can diminish destructive joint disease by reversing the joint disease cycle, restoring joint lubrication and reducing inflammation to help keep joints moving and horses performing. Each 5 ml of Adequan Equine contains 500 mg of Polysulfated Glycosaminoglycan (PSGAG) solution, for which there is no generic comparison.
Adequan for horses Dosage
The recommended loading dose of Adequan i.m. in horses is 500 mg (5 ml) every 4 days for 28 days, intramuscularly. For additional administration and dosing instructions, please consult your veterinarian and/or review package label insert.
